Seviper Caught a Girl Cub

Shanti was going to spend some time with Mowgli in the jungle since Shere Khan was no longer a threat. And while she had heard rumors about creatures called Pokémon inhabiting their world's jungle, she had yet to catch a Pokémon herself since some of the children in the Man Village had some as friends, as pets and partners to help them out with their chores. The last time Shanti had an encounter with a wild Pokémon, it was with a Cobra named Arbok, and her catch wasn't successful. It only resulted in her being wrapped in its very powerful coils, but she was then saved by her friends. 

"C'mon girl. You might be scared, but you still gotta try." Shanti said to herself as she tried again to catch herself a wild Pokémon. She could almost imagine her first partner. A Chatot? A Pikachu? A Jigglypuff? A Zangoose? Either way, her partner has got to be good enough for her. She searched around the jungle, and she was not alone. A loud hissing sound was heard, and boy, did it make her jump. "Mowgli? Ranjan? If that was you two making another prank on me, I'm not laughing about it, you horrible, stinky boys!" She shouted. She thought that hissing sound was coming from Kaa, but that sound was different.

Shanti waited for a response, but there was none. She then saw some bushes shaking right in front of her. "Mowgli? Is that you?" She asked if that was her friend in there. The girl cub approached cautiously to the bushes, as she put her hand out. "Mow...gli?" She spoke until... "Se-viper!" A Fang Snake Pokémon shouted.

Whoa! A wild Seviper appeared! Shanti was now standing there in fear of snakes, but this wasn't the best to be afraid right now. She couldn't run away at the moment, so she tried to toss a Poké Ball at it, only for the Seviper to evade as it slithered towards her. "C'mon, get caught!" She shouted tossing more balls, but Seviper started to use Screech, and the loud hissing sound made her cover her ears. Before she could throw another ball, Seviper started to use Glare, making her paralyzed on the spot.

There, she was left defenseless as the Fang Snake Pokémon started to use Wrap, having to coil around Shanti, and even squeezing her in its coils. Or playfully squeezing the Girl Cub in place? It would seem that in this encounter, it was the Pokémon who caught the Trainer.
